Great News about GameGirl

Our fantasy adventure for children GameGirl has two reasons to celebrate: the project was supported by Creative Europe MEDIA and selected for International co-production forum Kids Kino Industry!
The project, written by Hana Cielová, to be directed by Croatian award-winning director Marina Andree Škop, has already been supported by the Czech Film Fund for complete development and selected for prestigious script development workshop Kids Kino Lab aimed at developing feature-length films and series for children and youth, where it is being developed under the guidance of famous writer and script doctor Philip LaZebnik.
The support from such highly competitive program such as CE MEDIA is another important recognition of the qualities of this exciting project. 8Heads Productions has great experience with CE MEDIA programmes as our teenage drama The Pack has been previously supported as well.
The creative team of GameGirl is currently finishing the second draft of the script and it is great news to be among 27 projects selected for Kids Kino Industry 2022, which this year had a record number of submissions! The event will take place in Warsaw (both on-site and on-line) from September 27th to 29th, 2022.
Kids Kino Industry (KKI) is an international co-production forum for films and series aimed at children and youth and a meeting place where industry professionals can exchange ideas and develop new content for young audiences. The forum was established six years ago and it has since grown to become one of the most important events of this type in Eastern and Central Europe attended by more than 300 guests. The four-day agenda includes pitching presentations, 1:1 meetings, and a number of masterclasses, case studies, consultations, workshops, panels, and networking opportunities.
Kids Kino Industry is an excellent opportunity for producers and filmmakers to promote their projects and to find potential business partners and everyone at GameGirl team is really excited and looking forward to our first public pitch this September.
