Secret Delivery will have its international premiere in Locarno!

8Heads Productions is honoured to announce that our WW2 family winter adventure Tichá pošta/The Secret Delivery, a Czech-Slovak-Serbian co-production by director Ján Sebechlebský, will celebrate its International Premiere at one of the most prestigious world film festivals, Locarno IFF!

Locarno Film Festival, one of the oldest world festivals, was born in 1946, in the aftermath of the Second World War. It offered a stage for revival, freedom of art and expression for talents from all over the world eager to tell stories in new, different ways and the festival continues doing so till now. 

When the Locarno Film Festival was launched, the organizers chose to emphasize accessibility to all, to focus on quality, integrity, independence, and to champion films that enrich culture, art, and society. By standing their ground ever since, they have earned the attention and respect of both the international film community and the industry.

Locarno film selections are guarantees of excellence. 

One of the most popular festival sections are definitely Locarno Kids Screenings, where our Secret Delivery will be presented. The festival describes this section as follows:

“A selection devoted to younger audiences, a journey of cinematic initiation through films intended for their age group: national and world premieres, but also awesome classics from the past, rediscoveries in the realm of animation and premieres of films made for the entire family. The section is made possible thanks to our main partner La Mobiliare and our sponsors.“

The International Premiere of Secret Delivery at Locarno IFF with the presence of the main stars Theo Schaefer, Jakub Král and Eliška Dytrychová and producers Julietta Sichel and Silvia Panáková is supported by the the Czech Audiovisual Fund, PPF Foundation and the Slovak Audiovisual Fund.
